Our day will begin early in Cusco. We will depart at 4:00 a.m., embarking on a journey to Mollepata, approximately 110 kilometers (about 68 miles) away. We will arrive around 7:00 a.m., giving us a chance to fuel up with a hearty breakfast.
Next, we will make our way towards Soraypampa, which is about 22 kilometers (roughly 13.6 miles) from Mollepata. We’ll reach Soraypampa around 8:30 a.m., where we will begin our hike to Humantay Lake. This part of the journey covers a distance of roughly 5 kilometers and includes a challenging uphill trek.
